What You'll Do As a Resident Assistant, you will provide non-clinical support that enhances our residents' quality of life by: Assisting residents with personal care setup, grooming, and daily routinesEscorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the facilityProviding companionship through conversation, reading, games, and social engagementSupporting activity participation and encouraging resident independenceResponding to call lights by notifying nursing staff when clinical assistance is neededHelping maintain clean, organized, and comfortable resident rooms and common areasAssisting with meal service, snack delivery, dining room setup, and cleanupPerforming housekeeping duties and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the facilityMonitoring residents and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing teamFollowing infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights policies at all times Please note: This position does not provide hands-on clinical care or resident transfers. Clinical needs are referred to licensed nursing staff. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Is at least 18 years oldHas excellent communication and customer service skillsEnjoys working with seniors and long-term care residentsCan work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when neededCan perform the physical requirements of the positionMaintains a positive attitude and works well as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcareFood Handler's Permit or ServSafe CertificationCPR/First Aid certificationExperience in a fast-paced environment Why Join Royale Gardens?
