About the role
Caregivers are needed for all shifts at Arbor Terrace Cooper City, a luxury assisted living and memory care community.
Responsibilities
- Aid residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Build meaningful relationships while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and social engagement.
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents living with memory loss.
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment.
- Work closely with nurses and fellow team members to provide exceptional resident care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Caregiver, Resident Assistant, HHA, PCA, PCT, DSP, CNA, or in a similar direct care role.
- Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, senior living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
- Memory Care experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, resident-first approach to care.
