Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provides general Medical Assistant guidance to Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery physicians and physician assistants (6 providers) in an outpatient setting in the Weinberg Center for Women's Health and Medicine.
• Demonstrates competency when providing individualized care to specific patients.
• Supports the goals and mission of Mercy Medical Center, particularly the commitment to providing all patients easy access to high quality care, service, and value.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Program, 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
• Licenses and Certifications: No specific license or certification requirements.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Epic Performance Manager/NetLearning, computer literacy, and technical aptitude. Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly, work independently, communicate effectively, and make independent decisions when necessary. Must also be flexible, have personal integrity, and be able to function effectively as part of a team.
• Other Requirements: Required to travel to satellite offices. Minimum wage range: $18.66 per hour, maximum wage range: $30.79 per hour.
