Resident Assistant
Job Overview
We are seeking a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide personal care and health-related services to senior residents at Meadow Woods in Bloomington, MN. No CNA certification is required unless under 18 years old. This role provides training to administer medications.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents with personal cares including bathing, showering, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, transfers, and use of mechanical lifts.
- Provides health-related services under the direction of the Registered Nurse, including assisting with treatments, administering medication, taking and recording vital signs, and performing specified home services.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff, notifying them of any changes in condition.
- Responds to resident and building emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Ability to use technology such as computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines.
- If under 18, must be registered with the MN NA and the facility must manage any restrictions preventing the assistant from passing medications or operating a mechanical lift independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience.

Pay
An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. The maximum of the range is not typically offered. If eligible, a sign-on bonus may be available based on the approved and in-place bonus program at the time of offer.
