Resident Assistant
Job Overview
We are seeking a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide personal care and health-related services to senior residents at Meadow Woods in Bloomington, MN. No CNA certification is required unless under 18 years old. Training is provided for medication administration. The role includes evening shifts, every other weekend, and supports the Martin Luther Campus Senior Community.
Responsibilities
- Assists with personal cares such as bathing, showering, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, escorts, and transfers using mechanical lifts.
- Performs health-related services under the direction of the Registered Nurse, including assisting with treatments, administering medication, taking vital signs, and performing specified home services.
- Manages laundry and follows cleaning schedules.
- Facilitates resident social and recreational activities as assigned.
- Observes residents and reports changes in their condition to appropriate staff.
- Notifies staff of resident emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Ability to use technology including computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines.
- If under 18, must be registered with the MN NA and the facility must manage any restrictions preventing medication administration or operation of a mechanical lift.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience.

Pay
An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. The maximum of the range is not typically offered. If eligible, a sign-on bonus may be available.
