ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support all phases of operation and implementation of program rules and policies
- Communicate consistently with counselors through documentation about resident concerns, issues or needs
- Aid Director of Admissions & Billing with resident intake procedures
- Aid counselors with resident discharge procedures
- Complete scheduled walk around sessions to monitor the entire campus
- Provide resident transportation to/from appointments, including self-help groups, as needed
- Provide residents with NA/AA schedules and meeting locations
- Complete Incident reports upon crisis
- If designated, assist with medication management for residents
- Conduct drug screens upon admission and when requested by staff
- Maintain an inventory of resident room keys
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year related experience. Associates degree in the Human Services field with a minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred.
- Emotional stability, maturity, warmth, openness and the ability to work effectively with a diverse, indigent population
- Valid NC driver's license and insurable by Hope Haven’s carrier
- Ability and willingness to provide coverage in the facility twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week
- Knowledge of confidentiality laws so that client confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Ability to complete all training requirements as designated by Hope Haven, Inc.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification
