Amira Choice of Roseville on Cleveland is a beautiful, well-designed senior living community offering Independent/Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. Located adjacent to Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN, it is conveniently near public transportation. We are seeking a Resident Assistant to support the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including bathing, showering, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing, assistance with hearing aids and glasses, hair care, feeding, toileting, escorts, and 1-2 person transfers using a mechanical lift.
• Performs health-related services as directed: assists with treatments, administers medication, takes and records vital signs, and performs specified home services.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff; notifies staff of changes in condition; serves as a mandated reporter and reports concerns regarding potential mistreatment.
• Responds to resident and building emergencies.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of experience
• Ability to use technology (computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines)
• If under 18, must be on the MN NA registry and the community must manage any restrictions preventing independent medication passing or operation of a mechanical lift.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience

Pay

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. The hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer will be honored.
