Residency Program Coordinator
About the role
The Residency Program Coordinator at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center plays a crucial role in supporting the residency program, ensuring its success, and providing administrative support to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidential records and ensure a positive organizational image through cost-effective measures and effective support of all programs.
- Support the daily administration of office functions, coordinating and providing necessary support to the Residency Program.
- Coordinate and maintain the Program Director/Associate Program Director’s daily schedule.
- Provide support and guidance to students, interns, residents, and chief residents.
- Administer and coordinate program activities with faculty, residents, and staff, including administrative meetings, GME activities, program lecture series, lecture room scheduling, Journal Club, Harrison Series, etc.
- Accurately document and report resident time-off to the Administrative Director of Medical Education for payroll submission.
- Prepare agendas and record minutes for Training Program meetings; prepare letters of recommendation and verification of program credit for requesting organizations; prepare necessary informational material and reports for meetings and quarterly evaluations.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in office administration, with at least two (2) years in a healthcare-related setting.
- Two (2) years of experience in a medical education program preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Database management experience required.
