About the role
Supervises staff and residents and oversees the operation of assigned sites by performing but not limited to the following duties:
- Participates in the development and assures compliance of Individual Service Plans, including but not limited to Residential Habilitation Plans, the Level of Supervision Care and Monitoring Guides/Protective Oversight for Treatment Team approved as necessary or required.
- Interviews, hires, trains and supervises all approved direct care positions in compliance with all agency and departmental policies.
- Oversee residents' finances, medications and healthcare needs to assure compliance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and minimum 3 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required; Bachelor's degree and previous supervisory experience preferred or a combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program.
- Valid NYS driver's license with 12 months driving history.
Pay & schedule
- New hiring rate $25.18 hourly with sign-on bonus up to $1,000
- Residential setting – flexible hours as needed with shift differential in evenings and weekends
- Monday–Friday 8a–4p
