About the role
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, people-oriented leader who can effectively manage a team providing 24-hour support and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the physical, emotional, and medical care of residents
- Maintaining the physical plant of the home
- Accurate documentation and compliance with applicable regulations
- Supervision of an interdisciplinary team
- Closely working with individuals and their families, day program staff, medical providers, agency supervisors, and other colleagues to coordinate services and promote the highest quality of care
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid NY or NJ driver’s license required
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities
