Residence Manager

About the role

Ohel is seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to oversee a residential program for adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal applicant will be a people person who can successfully lead the team providing 24‑hour oversight to the program, embracing a dual professional role that includes both administrative and clinical aspects.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical, emotional, and medical care for individuals living in the program
• Oversee the physical plant of the residence
• Perform administrative oversight of documentation and regulation implementation
• Supervise an interdisciplinary team
• Interact regularly with individuals, their families, day‑program staff, medical providers, supervisors, and agency colleagues

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience
• Valid NY or NJ driver’s license
• Full‑time position located in Teaneck, New Jersey

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (a plus)
