About the role

As our Accounting Manager, you're the wizard behind the numbers—making sure everything from payroll to invoices flows smoothly. You know the ins and outs of HR, Loss Prevention, and house rules, all while keeping things on track with Aimbridge Hospitality's standards. Your superpower? Turning accounting into a seamless adventure!

Key responsibilities

• Show up sharp, look your best, and always greet everyone with a friendly smile—while keeping things professional, positive, and confidential behind the scenes
• Keep every department running smoothly and every rule followed; from payroll to hotel systems, make complex stuff look easy and fun
• Handle every cash, bill, and audit—daily cash, billing, collections, and audits are always in perfect harmony, with every penny accounted for
• Keep payroll and employee records grooving, making sure paychecks, new hires, and benefits stay on beat
• Drop a productivity report every Tuesday and track vacation and sick days with superhero precision
• Keep an eye on Guest Services and Night Audit teams to make sure they're on point with accounting
• Lead Night Auditor training sessions and spice up staff meetings with fun, effective training—Aimbridge style
• Jump in for MOD duty when needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3 years' related experience, Bachelor's with 1 year, or 5 years' progressive hotel/related field experience
• Strong proficiency with Windows systems, spreadsheets, typing, and basic PC troubleshooting
• Supervisory experience required
• Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems efficiently, and handle high-pressure situations
• Skilled at understanding complex information, addressing concerns, and working with financial data and basic math
