Reservations Specialist

About the role

The Reservations Specialist focuses on travel planning, reservation support, itinerary accuracy, traveler communication, and dependable follow-through using web-based systems. The work supports vacation and cruise planning, family travel, resort stays, and destination research using remote reservation and communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel requests, reservation details, itinerary updates, and customer follow-up using approved online systems.
• Maintain accurate traveler preferences, booking records, supplier confirmations, dates, and schedule changes.
• Research and organize travel options so customers and internal teams can make informed decisions.
• Communicate confirmations, changes, documentation needs, and next steps by email, phone, chat, or approved messaging tools.
• Resolve routine booking or service issues remotely and document actions, outcomes, and escalation needs.

• Strong written communication and dependable professional follow-through.
• Comfort working independently in a 100% remote environment with clear deadlines and documented procedures.
• Ability to use common business tools such as email, spreadsheets, shared documents, CRM or web-based systems.
• Careful attention to accuracy, confidentiality, record quality, and task completion.
• Ability to learn role-specific systems and communicate questions, exceptions, or status updates promptly.

Pay

Base compensation: $42,000–$62,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
