About the role

The Reservationist Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and customer-focused scheduling of ADA paratransit services. This position is responsible for handling trip reservations, coordinating Key Responsibilities Profil de candidat recherché :

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist passengers with trip reservations, cancellations, and inquiries.
• Schedule and confirm ADA-compliant transportation services using scheduling software.
• Cook up with dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely and accurate trip execution.
• Maintain detailed records of passenger interactions and trip data.
• Provide backup support to dispatch and customer service teams as needed.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, especially those with special needs, ensuring a respectful and supportive experience.
• Monitor trip capacity and optimize route efficiency.
• Handle service disruptions or changes with professionalism and prompt communication.
• Ensure compliance with ADA guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service, scheduling, or transportation is preferred.
• Familiarity with ADA regulations and paratransit operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer applications.
