Reservationist

About the role

The Reservationist assists clients in scheduling trips with our Drivers. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals dedicated to safety.

Responsibilities

• Process new employee files and submit them to the General Manager for approval.
• Submit appropriate paperwork to the regional accounting office.
• Calculate and input driver and staff payroll into the system for processing.
• Track attendance for part-time employees.
• Responsible for fare reconciliation and deposits.
• Aid the General Manager in accurately tracking overtime to reduce unnecessary punch hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literacy, proficiency with 10-key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity conditions.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day).
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday.
• Lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to access files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Tolerate exposure to heavy traffic areas, dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
