RESEARCH TECHNICIAN II
Occupational Summary
Perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting laboratory tests, experiments and determinations in support of Duke University research operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare research-related documents
- Perform data analysis
- Maintain standard laboratory equipment and supplies
- Auxiliary with the development of new research procedures and techniques
- Support ongoing animal studies
- Mouse genotyping
- Imaging
- Histological techniques
- Other experimental approaches related to glaucoma and neurodegeneration research
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field
- Experience: None required above education/training requirement
- OR An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
Anticipated Pay Range
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $19.06 to USD $28.85.
