About the role

The lab of Dr. Adam Kepecs employs advanced tools from systems neuroscience such as electrophysiology and optogenetics to study neural circuits involved in decision-making. This position involves assisting with various research activities under the guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with research studies, experiments, and assays, including data collection and equipment setup.
  • Maintains laboratory records and assists with data entry.
  • Performs general lab maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Working Conditions

Works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. Must be able to wear protective equipment and provide standard care.
