Responsibilities
- Assist in Design of Experiments (DOE) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to facilitate the transfer of new products into production
- Assist in pilot runs
- Work on assigned projects independently
- Understand equipment manuals and utilize equipment to its full capabilities
- Evaluate and recommend equipment required for project work
- Perform independent customer specification testing
- Support product maintenance lab work
- Write technical reports independently
- Lead IATF 16949 calibration and documentation
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 7+ years’ experience in thermoplastics, thermosets in the automotive OEM market or College degree in General Sciences
- Good oral communication and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent
