Responsibilities
- Assisting with sample preparation and processing
- Supporting animal husbandry activities
- Carrying out established laboratory procedures in accordance with biosafety requirements
- Maintaining compliance with institutional laboratory safety standards and operational protocols
- Contributing to research workflows through execution of established experimental procedures
- Organizing laboratory materials and supplies
- Supporting day-to-day laboratory operations under the guidance of the principal investigator and laboratory staff
- Laboratory supply ordering
- Maintenance of research records
- Support of animal model based pathogenesis studies conducted by the research team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Qualifications
The Research Technician 1 will support laboratory investigations involving viral immunology, immunological assays, molecular biology techniques, and pathogenesis studies in animal models.
