Responsibilities

  • Assisting with sample preparation and processing
  • Supporting animal husbandry activities
  • Carrying out established laboratory procedures in accordance with biosafety requirements
  • Maintaining compliance with institutional laboratory safety standards and operational protocols
  • Contributing to research workflows through execution of established experimental procedures
  • Organizing laboratory materials and supplies
  • Supporting day-to-day laboratory operations under the guidance of the principal investigator and laboratory staff
  • Laboratory supply ordering
  • Maintenance of research records
  • Support of animal model based pathogenesis studies conducted by the research team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

The Research Technician 1 will support laboratory investigations involving viral immunology, immunological assays, molecular biology techniques, and pathogenesis studies in animal models.
