About the Role

We are seeking a Research Specialist A to work in a fast-paced cancer immunology laboratory. This role focuses on one main research project involving flow cytometry and single-cell sequencing analyses, while also assisting other lab members with various tasks. The position requires the ability to plan complex experiments, multitask, and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct basic experiments to meet research project objectives, with close supervision.
  • Assist in performing laboratory experiments and clinical studies for product or material formulation and development.
  • Manage daily laboratory tools, documentation, and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and timely completion of project/program deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Research Specialists and Principal Investigator (PI) on experimental and clinical work setups in accordance with established protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position is contingent upon funding.

Working Conditions

  • Office, library, or computer room environment.
  • Requires extensive safety precautions.
  • Typically involves sitting at a desk or table; occasional lifting of 25 lb. or less.

Pay

$36,368.00 - $50,522.66. Salary offers are based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
