Responsibilities
Full-time research or scholarship at the University.
Preparatory for a full-time academic or research career.
Supervised by a senior scholar;
and allows the appointee to publish the results of his/her research or scholarship.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in immunology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, cancer biology, or a related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in T cell biology, lymphocyte analysis, genetic engineering, animal husbandry and handling, and/or human translational immunology experience.
- PhD or equivalent degree in a relative scientific field of study by appointment start date.
Qualifications
Education: Requires a doctoral degree or master's degree with significant experience.
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven grant writing skills (e.g., pre-doctoral awards and/or submitted grants).
- Highly motivated to develop new research avenues.
- Detail-oriented.
- Highly collaborative.

This is a restricted position, which is dependent on funding and is contingent upon funding availability.
