About the role

We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist (Bioanalytical) for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, NV. Serve as a scientist in the conduct of assigned preclinical and clinical research studies of basic to moderate complexity, to include study management, interpretation and reporting of study data, and assuring the regulatory compliance of these projects.

This position will serve as a scientist in the conduct of assigned nonclinical and clinical bioanalytical studies at all levels of complexity, to include study management, interpretation and reporting of study data, and assuring the regulatory compliance of these projects, as appropriate. Additional responsibilities include serving as a primary scientific contact for key clients and the on-site support of their programs, as well as the support of specialty studies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimization of ligand binding assays including ELISA, MSD, or Gyrolab platforms.
  • Conduct assigned preclinical and clinical research studies of basic to moderate complexity.
  • Manage studies, interpret and report study data, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a primary scientific contact for key clients and provide on-site program support.
  • Support specialty studies as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline.
  • Related Master's degree (M.S./M.A.) or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in the contract research, academic, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements of study types assigned, as well as Testing Facility SOPs and the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), as appropriate.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft® Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000 annually USD.
