Bioanalytical Scientist

Location: New Brunswick, NJ · Duration: 6 months · Pay Rate: $37.62‑$42.46/hr · 100% on‑site · Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm (1 hr lunch).

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical assays in a biologics industry laboratory.
• Apply diverse analytical techniques and basic biochemistry laboratory methods.
• Perform ELISA, cell‑based assays, cell culture, qPCR, and ddPCR.
• Execute methods to determine potency, measure biological activity, and/or assess process‑related impurities.
• Conduct GxP‑compliant laboratory work.
• Utilize spreadsheet‑based software for data analysis and reporting.
• Adhere to strict guidelines, document and review data per established SOPs, and maintain laboratory notebooks and records under GxP compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science (or an M.S. degree).
• 2–4 years of analytical experience (or equivalent experience with an M.S. degree).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Experience executing analytical assays in a biologics industry laboratory.
• Experience with GxP laboratory execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
