About the role
A highly motivated and skilled laboratory technician with broad expertise in animal research and molecular/cellular biology techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory animal work, including handling, breeding, routine monitoring, and colony management
- Conduct genotyping and maintain accurate records of animal health and experimental data
- Support and perform tissue culture experiments
- Execute molecular and biochemical assays, including protein and RNA analyses
- Perform immunohistochemistry and related techniques
- Assist in maintaining laboratory organization, compliance, and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent extensive hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience with animal handling and research procedures
- Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques (e.g., tissue culture, RNA/protein assays, immunohistochemistry)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
