About the role
The TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a Research Program Manager to oversee a robust research program focused on the design and implementation of evidence-based guidelines, programs, and policies across the cancer care continuum—from prevention to survivorship—aimed at promoting healthy behaviors, improving care delivery, and enhancing community capacity.
This role involves managing meaningful projects from concept to completion while collaborating with nationally recognized researchers and public health leaders. Research doesn’t end with publication; it informs policy, improves programs, and creates healthier futures.
Responsibilities
- Partner with principal investigators and serve as the administrative lead for funded research studies and other initiatives from conceptualization to dissemination.
- Lead research and evaluation efforts, including data analysis and interpretation.
- Drive dissemination and scientific communication of findings.
- Provide team leadership and project management for complex initiatives.
- Support grant development and funding strategy.
- Oversee budget and operational aspects of research programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 36 months of experience in project management, evaluation design, and research.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree for a total of 84 months of related experience.
Hiring contingent upon a background check.
Pay
Targeted salary ranges from $54,700 – $72,500 annually, based on experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, standard/fixed schedule.
Travel may be required.
