About the role
The role is responsible for providing academic advising services to students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with students to discuss academic progress and plan for future courses.
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students based on their academic needs.
- Provide guidance on course selection, degree requirements, and transfer credit evaluation.
- Collaborate with faculty members and other advisors to ensure comprehensive support for student success.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in higher education advising or similar field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of academic policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
