About the role
This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience as a Research Intern focused on Generative AI (Diffusion Models).
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement algorithms for solving inverse problems in medical imaging (image acquisition, image denoising, image super-resolution, image reconstruction, etc.) using Generative AI (Diffusion Models).
- Advance the state-of-the-art, including generating patents and top publications.
- Work on large-scale, real-world problems in an environment that’s more startup than big company.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States OR have graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to the exchange visitor program start date.
- Current graduate students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras, in addition to familiarity with image processing in Python and C++.
- Hands-on coding skills and ability to quickly prototype in Python.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $59,800 - $92,092. Factors affecting starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
