About the role
A Research Fellow position in Life Sciences (LS) at Mayo Clinic requires knowledge of either clinical-based research or laboratory-based research, often obtained from a postdoctoral program. This position provides training and education in research, with individuals training under the mentorship of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. The Research Fellow must demonstrate potential for research, evidenced by training, peer-reviewed publications, and the ability to compete for national research grants.
Responsibilities
- Train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator.
- May have patient/research subject contact directly related to and incidental to the original research program.
- Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship.

Pay
$67,282 - $78,711 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
