Research Fellow - Neurosurgery

Role Overview: This position involves a postdoctoral fellowship in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) within the Department of Neurosurgery. The fellow will work under mentorship to develop expertise in AI/ML applications in healthcare, with a focus on research and discovery in neurosurgery. The role includes conducting independent research, developing strategies for AI deployment, and contributing to scientific publications. Responsibilities Design and implement AI/ML models using Python (TensorFlow/PyTorch), Linux, Docker, and cloud services (GCP).Assist in developing research strategies and deploying AI solutions in neurosurgery.Contribute to scientific writing and publishing peer-reviewed papers.Collaborate with clinical and research teams to advance healthcare AI initiatives. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in a relevant field, with strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, Python, Linux scripting, databases, deep learning, and statistical methods. Experience with cloud services and scientific writing is preferred. Proven research track record and publication history are essential.
