About the role
This is a Research Postdoctoral Fellow position at Department 85031, Wake Forest University Health Sciences - Academic Biochemistry.
Responsibilities
- Independently carry out research projects in retina/RPE biology and diseases.
- Complete the studies proposed in the Principal Investigator's grants.
- Generate data for publication and new grant proposals.
- Write and submit research papers.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.D. degree in biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, or ophthalmology.
- Laboratory experience in biomedical research is required.
Qualifications
- Strong background in biomedical research.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of retina/RPE biology and diseases.
- Strong writing and publication skills.
Pay
Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on-call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
