Responsibilities
- Support wet chemistry processes, including process development, characterization and quality control
- Train and mentor LNF users on wet bench processing procedures and equipment
- Aid in training on other equipment and process technologies
- Provide support for processing services provided to remote users
- Write and update detailed equipment and process procedures and documentation
- Manage and maintain the LNF chemical inventory
- Help develop proper clean room safety protocols in the handling of hazardous materials, standard practices, and disciplinary procedures
- Participate in Emergency Response Team training sessions and responses, and voluntary on-call rotation
- Occasionally assist other team members with troubleshooting and maintenance of wet processing equipment, including possible plumbing and electrical work
- Establish and maintain contacts with peer facilities to coordinate collaborations and share best known methods
- Mandate and exhibit safe working and housekeeping practices and support other team-wide efforts as needed
- Foster teamwork and participate in team-building activities
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the LNF’s mission
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 or more years of hands-on experience

- $64,000 - $74,000
