Chemical Process Engineer

Responsibilities
- Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
- Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
- Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
- Calculate and organize data for process flow sheets.
- Lead the establishment of process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
- Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- At least 4-5 years of chemical process engineering experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT/FE)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in the design of semiconductor facilities
Qualifications
- Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Moon Township, PA or Latham, NY
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise
- Collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various regions
- Passion for engineering and developing solutions

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $128,480.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
