About the Role

The Research Digital Communications Specialist will serve as a liaison between the healthcare system marketing department, researchers, clinicians, sponsors, donors, the public, and others. This role provides support to the Research Institute marketing operations by compiling, formatting, summarizing information, content, reports, newsletters, presentations, and other marketing materials for a variety of audiences. The specialist works closely with the Marketing and Digital Development team to ensure proper testing and implementation, and collaborates with Research Institute management to conceptualize creative ideas.

Responsibilities

• Compile, format, and summarize information, content, reports, newsletters, presentations, and other marketing materials for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Digital Development team to test and implement digital communications strategies.
• Work with Research Institute management to develop creative concepts and ideas.
• Act as a liaison between researchers, clinicians, sponsors, donors, the public, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Health Care Administration, Research, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in communications, digital development, or brand management.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Previous work experience in a research, academic, or related setting, as well as experience with research communications.
• Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Professional customer service skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) platforms, including the ability to write and edit copy, incorporate graphic design elements, and familiarity with HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, and Canva.
• Preferred: Ability to adapt to the latest technology and digital trends in content and research marketing strategy planning.
