Job Summary
Involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of research data. Designs and conducts research including selecting data samples, developing research instruments, analyzing collected information according to established statistical methods, and developing recommendations based on research findings. Prepares reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results.
About the Role
Serves as the Research Data Manager on the ARIA project and provides the architectural backbone for a large-scale, multi-department clinical neural data initiative. Primarily, transforms raw signals from a complex stack of clinical neural collection hardware into highly structured, analysis-ready datasets. Builds data pipeline software from the ground up, designing robust systems capable of handling high-dimensional time-series data. Ensures code quality through modern software tooling in languages such as Python or Rust. Authors and implements rigorous clinical data collection protocols, seamlessly integrating hardware outputs with clinical capture systems like REDCap. Acts as the main coordinator of data distribution, orchestrating the dissemination of data between various parties across departments and institutions. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary research teams, actively shaping the statistical and computational design of neural data analyses.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Thorough knowledge of research function

- Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing
- Research skills at a level to evaluate alternate solutions and develop recommendations
