About the role

The University of Aberdeen is seeking to appoint up to three Research Cultures Collaboration Associates to contribute to a national programme of activities focused on strengthening research cultures across Scotland's higher education sector.

Projects

The Associates will work alongside the Scottish Research Cultures Collaboration Manager and partners to deliver one of three projects:

• Enhancing Early Researcher Experience in Scotland
• Creating Narratives of Research Cultures in Scotland
• Evidence and Insight from Research Integrity and Culture Week

Job description

These roles offer the opportunity to work across institutional boundaries, engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute to projects that have impact across Scotland's research ecosystem.

Pay and schedule

• Salary: Grade 6, £38,784 - £46,049 per annum pro rata, with placement according to qualifications and experience
• Fixed term: 3 months total (full time), may be worked flexibly, with duration varying according to agreed FTE (e.g. 3 months at 1.0 FTE, 37.5 hours per week; or 6 months at 0.5 FTE, 18.75 hours per week)
• Based in the UK – successful candidate required to live and work in the UK
