Job Description
Performs varying standardized laboratory assignments and experiments.
Job Duties
- Performs routine and non‑routine research assignments as designed by the PI of the laboratory.
- Maintains inventory of all laboratory supplies related to research, documents research data, and updates chemical and lab inventory.
- Handles lab ordering related to ongoing projects and conducts annual inspections.
- Performs biological assays and conducts quantitative and qualitative assays, including imaging, immunohistochemistry, histology, RT‑qPCR, Western blotting, cell culture, animal studies, statistical analysis, and data management.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication skills and basic management skills.
- Proficient with computer software and some experience in big data analysis.

Primary location: United States – Texas – Galveston. Work location: 1070 – Medical Research Building.
