Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of research studies in the department.
- Coordinate data maintenance, grant expenditure adherence, project evaluation, meeting scheduling, and research subject interfacing.
- Serve as a point of contact for study participants, research personnel and support staff.
- Adhere to good clinical practices, study protocols, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Requires a minimum of a Masters or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline, or Bachelors plus at least 2 years of post-Bachelor’s work experience in a role that is similar to that of a Research Assistant.
Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with grant writing and funding application processes.
- Experience with research in a specific field relevant to the organization's focus.
- Proficiency in research design and methodology.
- Prior experience working in an academic setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of ethical standards in research and data integrity.
