Research Associate II, Contingent Worker
About the role
Kincell Bio engineers cells into therapies. As a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) with facilities in Research Triangle Park, NC and Gainesville, FL, we streamline CMC development, apply expertise in analytical and process development, and provide GMP manufacturing, testing, and release from early clinical to pivotal studies and product launch. We focus on supporting innovative companies developing immune cell therapies, including autologous and allogeneic CAR-T, TCR, TILs, Tregs, and CAR-NK technologies.
This is a three-month temporary position providing coverage for an employee’s parental leave. The role is site-based in Gainesville, FL and may require some non-standard working hours, including early mornings or late evenings.
Responsibilities
- Performs process development operations with supervision from more senior personnel
- Assists in preparing agendas in advance of meetings and capturing/distributing meeting notes and deliverables
- Drafts and reviews technical documents
- Handles laboratory maintenance and material management
- Maintains 5S and Kanban systems
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 3 years’ experience, an A.S. degree and 1 year’s experience, or a B.S. degree in life sciences
- Strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and self-motivation
- Teamwork-oriented with the ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to follow technical instructions in written, oral, mathematical, and diagram form
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask tactically and prioritize effectively
- Strong organizational skills and time management
