About the role

The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Responsibilities

  • Investigation of the BRCA 1-A complex in genome integrity.
  • Further development of research skills.
  • Publish important papers.

Requirements

  • Expertise in protein biochemistry, cell biology, microscopy, CRISPR Cas9 methodologies.
  • A Ph.D. degree.
  • At least 3-5 years postdoctoral experience.
