The Role

What You'll Do
- Screening of compounds in various in vitro ADME/Tox assays
- Planning and conducting high and low throughput in vitro ADME assays
- Processing data to a high quality standard and within specified time frames
- Maintaining mammalian cells and cell lines
- Preparing, monitoring, and maintaining of compounds, stock solutions, buffers, and any other assay-related materials
- Validating, routine maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment to support assay execution and/or sample analysis as required
- Supporting the execution of assigned routine and bespoke assays
- Aiding in data analysis and interpretation
- Ensuring all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and in proper working order on completion of assigned tasks
- Reporting errors and erroneous results to your supervisor with minimal delay
- Accurately and completely documenting all activities as required by relevant standard operating procedures and Quality policies
- Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of trainees and other support staff when required
- Ensuring work is performed to an exceptionally high standard, within specified time frames, ensuring safety regulations and quality check procedures are strictly adhered to
- Following appropriate Health and Safety procedures at all times in the workplace
- Participating in all mandatory training required to perform effectively in job role
- Ensuring that your personal training record is up to date and discussing any gaps with your supervisor
Who You Are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant Biological or Chemical scientific discipline with less than 2 years' experience working within industry (pharma or CRO)
- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills
- A curious problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot and multitask under pressure of deadlines
- A natural collaborator who is willing to participate in initiatives to improve group processes and make efficiency gains in assays while treating all colleagues with dignity and respect
- Experience with plate-based screening, culture experience, and LC-MS/MS experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Pay and Benefits
The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $57,800 to $78,200. This is a salaried exempt position. Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual's skills, experience, and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental, and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company-paid basic life insurance, 401(k) company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and holidays, wellness, and transportation benefits.
