Job Summary

The Research Assistant provides essential support for laboratory research activities. This position is responsible for assisting with laboratory procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring a well-organized and efficient research environment. The role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in biomedical research.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparing solutions, reagents, and media.
• Affix with basic experimental procedures under supervision.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment, ensuring proper operation.
• Collect, label, and process biological samples according to standard protocols.
• Affix accurately data in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
• Affix in inventory management and ordering laboratory supplies.
• May assist in animal husbandry, collection of physiological data, and euthanasia.

• Education: Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• Certifications, Licenses, Or Registrations: N/A
• Preferred Qualifications: Degree in science field of biology, chemistry, or a related field. Laboratory experience (through coursework or employment).
