About the role
The Single Cell Genomics Facility is seeking a Research Assistant III/IV to join our team. This position is part of the Research Services department.
Responsibilities
- Perform single cell RNA sequencing experiments
- Manage and maintain single cell genomics samples
- Collaborate with researchers to design and execute experiments
- Prepare and analyze data for publication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Experience with single cell RNA sequencing techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic statistical analysis tools
Skills
- Proficiency in NextSeq or HiSeq platforms
- Experience with bioinformatics software such as Seurat, FlowJo, or similar
- Basic understanding of molecular biology techniques
