About the role

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (required for Research Assistant III).
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (required for Research Assistant IV).
  • Minimum of 2 years (III) or 4 years (IV) of hands-on experience with microscopy or imaging techniques in a research setting.
  • Proficiency in image analysis software (e.g., ImageJ, FIJI, Imaris, or similar).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills for complex imaging equipment.
  • Experience with cell culture, histology, or molecular biology techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

  • Advanced microscopy techniques (confocal, super-resolution, electron microscopy).
  • Quantitative image analysis and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or databases.
  • Basic programming/scripting (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) for data analysis is a plus.
