About the role

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (required for Research Assistant III).
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (required for Research Assistant IV).
- Minimum of 2 years (III) or 4 years (IV) of hands-on experience with microscopy or imaging techniques in a research setting.
- Proficiency in image analysis software (e.g., ImageJ, FIJI, Imaris, or similar).
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills for complex imaging equipment.
- Experience with cell culture, histology, or molecular biology techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills
- Advanced microscopy techniques (confocal, super-resolution, electron microscopy).
- Quantitative image analysis and data visualization.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or databases.
- Basic programming/scripting (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) for data analysis is a plus.
