Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct experiments supporting basic science research initiatives
- Carry out assigned research projects across varied areas of basic science
- Construct, assemble, and operate laboratory apparatus and equipment
- Prepare laboratory supply orders to maintain adequate inventory
- Initiate routine laboratory equipment maintenance requests
- Maintain a well-stocked and operational laboratory environment
- Record, organize, and evaluate experimental and research data
- Review professional and scientific literature relevant to assigned research
- Consult with peers and supervisors to develop new or improved research procedures
- Support continuous improvement of research methodologies within the laboratory
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Basic Science
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Basic Science
- Preferred: Medical Degree
- Required: One year Scientific or experimental research work experience
Qualifications
- Demonstrated foundational education and experience in scientific research
- Able to support laboratory-based experiments
- Able to manage research-related data
- Able to assist with equipment and supply needs
