Research Assistant I - Department of Neuroscience
About The Opportunity
The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute at West Virginia University is seeking to hire a motivated Laboratory Research Assistant. The successful candidate will support projects related to brain networks dynamics after brain injury. The lab uses several cutting-edge technologies to track and manipulate specific neuronal circuits, including in vivo multi-photon microscopy, optogenetics, and rodent behavioral testing.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.
- A minimum of 0-6 months of relevant research experience.
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Technical skills and expertise in cellular and molecular biology.
- Experience in handling rodents in experimental settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with other researchers.
