About the role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Research Assistant. This role focuses on conducting research, gathering and organizing data, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting business initiatives through data-driven insights. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, analytical abilities, communication skills, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
- Conduct online and database research
- Gather, organize, and verify research data
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations
- Maintain accurate research documentation
- Analyze information and identify key findings
- Support market, business, and operational research projects
- Auxiliary with surveys, questionnaires, and data collection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research initiatives
- Update spreadsheets and research databases
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information
- Support process improvement and special projects
- Perform additional research and administrative duties as assigned
We’re looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of 0–2 years of experience in research, administration, customer service, data entry, or related roles
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A high attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and online research tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
- A professional, dependable, and self-motivated mindset
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Internship or academic research experience
- Experience with survey platforms or research databases
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions and reporting
- An interest in business research and data analysis
