Research Assistant/Engineer

Orchestrate Consulting curates and validates opportunities from verified employers. This role is with PROLIM for a client in Redmond, WA.

About the role

• Design and implement new algorithms and functionalities in data tools
• Build and manage large-scale datasets with high quality and diversity
• Collaborate cross-functionally to convert data needs into solutions
• Contribute to publications and open-source research efforts
• Support innovation in AMI (Artificial Machine Intelligence) from a data perspective

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, and data research
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, STEM, or Computer Science
• Strong experience with PyTorch and Python for ML tasks
• Familiarity with cloud clusters
• Hands-on experience in machine learning/optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in core ML theory development
• Prior experience in large-scale applied research environments (shorter ramp-up period)
