About the Role
Perform research experiments and assist in mouse colony management.
Responsibilities
- Perform experiments relating to electrophysiological and biochemical assays measuring ion channel function
- Collaborate with other lab personnel on projects
- Assist in mouse colony management and train other lab personnel in lab techniques and mouse colony management as needed
- Read scientific literature, write parts of manuscripts, attend seminars/lab meetings, and present research at internal and external conferences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience or related field
- Experience with patch clamp electrophysiology and Ca²⁺ imaging
- Experience with Molecular Biology and ion channel research
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a research lab
Pay
$38,000 per year
