Research Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of special research projects.
• Conduct literature reviews and edit manuscripts.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods.
• Prepare and present research findings to internal and external teams.
• Support the development and submission of research proposals to publications, conferences, and other opportunities.

Qualifications/Education

• Current graduate students encouraged to apply.
• Coursework or experience in research methods, social sciences, public policy, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with Quantitative Analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and SPSS.
• Familiarity with Qualitative Analysis tools such as ATLAS.ti, Ninivo, Dedoose.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Qualtrics including survey creation, distribution, and analysis features.
• Detail-oriented and able to connect data-driven findings to broader social impact trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and skilled at adjusting to new timelines and projects.
• Grant writing experience preferred but not required.
