Research Assistant

KBW Financial Staffing is working with a prestigious university in the Greater Boston area that is looking for a Research Assistant to join their team. This is a contract position (potential to convert) that is paying between $32-$38/hr depending on experience. The Responsibilities For This Role Will Include Manage pre- and post-award sponsored research activities, including proposal preparation, award setup, grant monitoring, compliance, and closeoutPrepare financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, effort certifications, cost-sharing, and under-recovery tracking for assigned accountsPartner with key stakeholders to improve processes and provide guidance and training on research administrationServe as a finance subject matter expert, advising faculty and staff on financial management across sponsored and non-sponsored accounts The Experience Required For This Role Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related accounting/finance experience Proficient with Excel.
